Located just two hours from Boston and five hours from New York City, hosting your wedding at Camp Winaukee allows you to bring your guests on a relaxing getaway that gives everyone time to catch up and make lasting memories. After a welcome bonfire on Friday night and dancing beneath the stars on Saturday, your guests will be thrilled that they were invited to camp.

Ceremony
Newlyweds can stroll our property ahead of time to pick the perfect ceremony location. Whether you choose to say “I Do” along the beach waterfront with spectacular mountain views or inside our rustic theatre-style Playhouse, a camp wedding ceremony will be one all your guests will remember forver.
Reception
Using an event planner or creating it yourself, Winaukee provides a facility that you can totally customize for your perfect wedding reception. Choose to keep the party outdoors or use our indoor dining hall, playhouse, or gymnasium to bring your vision to life and let the good times roll.
Activites
Your guests can enjoy activities ranging from water skiing to tennis and zip lining. They can also take in more mellow options like a canoe ride or swinging in a hammock by the lake. Our team will work with you to design a wedding weekend that will give your guests as much structure or free time as you want.
Lodging
Our traditional camp cabins offer us the ability to house up to 500 guests on our property for your special day. You get to choose who sleeps where and decide what is right for your guests. Staying at Winaukee eliminates the need to worry about traveling home after enjoying the reception – everyone can relax, enjoy the fun, and stay onsite.
Wedding FAQs
Memorable and delicious food is an essential part of any successful and unforgettable gathering. We recommend hiring an outside caterer. With our on-site dining halls and commercial kitchens, we are able to host caterers for both buffet style and table service dining.
For the duration of your stay, we are able to provide in-house food service for you and your guests. With a fully fitted kitchen and dish room, our head chef is ready to help create a range of traditional dishes and meals for your retreat weekend. As our chefs are contracted for a full season, we are able to provide competitive pricing and also work with you on your menu in advance.
Camp Winaukee is available to book outside of our traditional summer camp season. We offer dates from mid-May through Mid-June and again from Mid-August through Mid-October. We may also be able to accomodate winter weddings and will help find a way to make it possible. For more information about our availability, please contact us directly.
We happily recommend and provide experienced vendors from tent, table & chair rentals to experienced servers and bartenders, and DJs or florists to help put your mind at ease while planning. With our impeccable attention to details and flawless execution, we promise our team will make your wedding day unforgettable.
