School Groups & Sports Team Retreats
Our state-of-the-art sporting facilities offer a perfect natural environment for your next school or team retreat. We offer a beautiful natural setting with a wide variety of amenities and opportunities: adventure programs, hiking, traditional camp activities, lodging, dining and meeting spaces.
Our Facilities
Our facility includes extensive sports facilities including 8 baseball fields, 8 basketball courts, a driving range, soccer, football, and lacrosse fields, 18 tennis courts, and a weight training center.
Team Bonding
Our customized team building workshops have made a huge impact on hundreds of college and high school sports teams and students. Our challenge courses provide the perfect opportunity for team building and bonding away from the field or classroom. With a wide range of options, time off from practice or workshops can be spent enjoying canoeing races, campfires, nature hikes, archery, and pick up games.
Lodging
Our shared cabin living fosters team camaraderie. Whether just for a one night or a longer stay, our traditional camp cabins offer the ability to house up to 500 guests on our property. We will work with you to arrange accommodations that are right for you and your team.
Private & Secure Enviornment
As childcare providers ourselves, we know how important it is to ensure your team is in a safe and secure environtmnet. Our private property offers comfort and peace of mind to your families who may be concered about sending their children away.
School Groups & Sports Teams FAQs
Depending on your event needs, we can provide in-house food service for you and your guests. With a fully fitted kitchen and dish room, our head chef is ready to help create a range of traditional dishes and meals for your retreat. As our chefs are contracted for a full season, we are able to provide competitive pricing and also work with you on your menu in advance.
For more large-scale events, we partner with outside caterers. With our on-site dining halls and commercial kitchens, we are able to host caterers for both buffet style and table service dining.
Camp Winaukee is available to book outside of our traditional summer camp season. We offer dates from mid-May through Mid-June and again from Mid-August through Mid-October. We may also be able to accomodate winter weddings and will help find a way to make it possible. For more information about our availability, please contact us directly.
